Hi Willy
I am new here after desperatly searching for relationship answers. How do you keep trying and trying when the other partner is so selfcentred. I am at a point where I am calling it quits. We have been together for 17 years and its getting worse and worse. I have tried to keep a blind eye, ignore, not admitting there is a problem and hoping things will improve. But it is not.

I do not want to get a divorce but under these circumstances it is the best solution there is. I will be 50 this year and damwell deserve some happiness. If that means I have to be on my own, then so be it.

Thanks for being a real special friend for so many years, not just during the Festive Season or via your blog….. As you well know one can’t build relationships with many people, although we can be friends with everyone. It’s hard to place your trust in anyone these days – that’s why you and Patsi are so special to Paul & myself. Trusting 2012 will be the best year for you.

I can’t believe how much my husband and I have learned to understand each other and most importantly ourselves since we’ve started our councelling sessions. We are getting back on track and enjoying each other more and more every day. Thank you so much for the coaching that we desperately needed.

This is so true. Too many marriages get caught up in this type of conversation and they are rude to one another. Keep encouraging as it is vital that there is respect between husband & wife which seems to have fallen by the wayside in this day and age.

It’s really good to be reminded of these vows and they are so special. We learn from them every day and the longer we are married the more we learn about each other – it’s not easy, but as couples we need to persevere through the good times and the bad, remembering that God has joined us together – and as God shares his love with us, we need to give more to him, our spouses and all of those with whom we come into contact with.
